The Bessie Head Municipal Library hosted the English Quiz Competition on October 12, 2023. Focused on the fiction novel “The Fish in Room 11,” a 169-page book, the competition included general knowledge questions. Participating were Grade 6 learners from various schools, with Marion High School being one of the five competing institutions.
Guided and prepared by Ms. M. Govender, the students of Marion High School demonstrated their hard work and brilliance, clinching an impressive 3rd place overall. Their standout performance in the Comprehension category earned them a well-deserved 1st place. We are immensely proud of our exceptional learners who consistently strive for excellence.
